For Issue 7, Spring 2026
Time Period: Accepting submissions for Issue 7 (to be published April 2026) from November 17, 2024 until January 25, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
Simultaneous submissions are permitted; we ask, however, that you please notify us immediately and withdraw the piece if the work is accepted elsewhere.
We will not consider previously published works, including on personal blogs or social media. This also applies to art and photography.
Current students of Rocky Mountain College may send up to three submissions, not including contests.
One submission can include:
- Poetry: Up to five poems
- Fiction: 5,000 words maximum—flash, short stories, historical, etc.
- Creative Nonfiction: 5,000 words—personal essays, memoirs, nature essays, lyric essays, etc.
- Art: Up to three files/pieces—can be different mediums, i.e., photography, painting, drawing, or any other art or combo of these
- Photography: Up to three files in RAW or .jpeg format
Please remove your name and any other identifying information from your submission.
